Rev. David Pate

Departed this life September 22, 2012. Rev. David Pate Jr. formerly of Garrett Street. He is survived by his wife, Linda Pate; four daughters; Carlotta White, Tangenika Scott, and Lekia & Charity Pate; two step daughters, Jaynee Sasso and Danyelle Jackson; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Fontaine Ferguson and Beverly Wilder; one brother, Willie L. Pate; several aunts and uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sons-in-law, Elgen Scott, Donald Sasso and Keith Jackson; one brother-in-law, Robert(Buck) Ferguson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 4 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at New Direction Baptist Church, 911 E. 36th Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Jimmy McCrary(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
