Departed this life October 4, 2012. Mrs. Judy Rollison Puryear of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Banks. She is survived by one son, Carroll Banks Jr.; one step daughter, Gail Quarles; one step son, Van Quarles; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Sturdivant (Dan) and Wilhelmenia Coleman; one brother, Melchester Staten (Hestell); one uncle, Jessie Staten; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-law, Ralph Bellamy Sr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM. Dr. Earl Brown officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Project Homes Renew Crew Dept., 88 Carnation St., Richmond, Va. 23225 to build a handicap accessible ramp in Judy's name.
