Granderson Hanks

Hanks, Departed this life December 9, 2007. Granderson Hanks of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Mae Hanks and a granddaughter, Tamesha Brown. He is survived by two daughters, Angela Hanks Brown and Wendy Hanks Carter; two sons, Joel and Granderson D. Hanks of Cincinatti, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tangee Brown, Whitney & Jasmine Hanks, and Keja & Chad Carter; one great grandson, Tyler Lewis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter- in- law Sheralyn Hanks; two sisters- in- law, Virginia Jones and Bernice Jones; one brother -in- law, James E. Bailey and other relatives and friends, among them Eddie Hinton. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11A.M. at Woodworth Baptist Church, 444 Woodsworth Road, Henderson, North Carolina. Rev. Lawrence E. Harrison(pastor) Rev. Glendora Hargrove off. Interment Woodworth Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45A.M. Saturday.
