Linda Gale Jones

JONES, Linda Gale, age 52, a resident of Parham Healthcare Center and formerly of Southampton Avenue, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, December 13, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian Cheatham Jones and Curtis Lee Jones. She is survived by three sisters, Kathy Jones Barrett (John) of Columbia, Md., Deborah Jones Brooks (Roland) of Chesterfield, Va., and Lillian R. Jones of Manhattan, N.Y.; one brother, Samuel E. Jones Sr. of Richmond, Va.; three nephews, Prince L. Gray, Timothy E. Jones Sr., and Samuel E. Jones Jr.; two great nieces, Princess and Shaniya; three great-nephews, Timothy Jr., Aquanza, and Donaldo; three aunts, Mae Dunmore, Louise Bailey, Ruby Finney; two uncles, Willie "Billy" Cheatham, James "Son" Jones; godmother, Pearl Taylor; and other relatives and family friends. The family appreciates and wishes to thank Dr. Roderick Haithcock, the staffs of Parham Healthcare Center, St. Mary's Hospital, Henrico Doctors' Hospital (Parham Campus) and A Grace Place Adult Care Center. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral. Dr. Stephen B. Hewlett officiating.
