John Law

LAW, John, died December 19, 2007. His wife, Dorothy W. Law, preceded him in death. Survivors are four sisters, Sarah Bacote, Olivia Gibbs, Ruth Jones and Alberta Neetles; eight nephews, 11 nieces, a host of great-nephews and nieces; two brothers-in-law, Rufus Gibbs and Harry R. Watson Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Anna Waites and P. Frances Watson; many other relatives and friends, Ellis Pryor, Mack and Nettie Freeman, Normal and Lucille Haskins, Thomas Rivers Sr., Mary P. Monroe, Carolyn Nelson, Barbara Cheek, Adell Johnson and Antoinette Hughes. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, in Richmond. Funeral 1 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007, Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Road, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. The Reverend Dr. Andrew M. Mosley Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment Quioccasin Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
