Departed this life October 7, 2012. Joe Lewis Lowery of Chesterfield. He is survived by one daughter, Elaine Garrett; one granddaughter, Tiara Garrett; mothe,r Betty I. Lowery; two sisters, Elaine Massey and Susan L. Hunt; three brothers; Danny, Jerry and George E. Lowery; two aunts, Henrietta Miller and Hattie Jones; two uncles, Elbert Massey and Jimmy Funderburk; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Robert Garrett; two sisters- in-law, Brenda and Sandra Lowery; and other relatives and friends among them his devoted companion, Regina Blowe. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon. Rev. Jeffrey Massey off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at funeral home 11:45AM Saturday.
