James Edward Tisdale

Tisdale, Departed this life December 21, 2007. Deacon James E. Tisdale of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Rachel Frierson. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rachel Tisdale; two daughters, Geraldine T. Bannister and Kathleen T. Jones; two sons ,Edward L. and Joseph A. Tisdale; eight grandchildren; two grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Lucy T. Douglas; one brother, William H. Tisdale; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Joan V. and Ann L. Tisdale; one son-in-law, Reginald Jones; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in- law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held friday 1P.M. at Grace Institutional Baptist Church, 300 W. Roanoke Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Apostle Michael Bennett(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends and organizations assemble at the church 12:45P.M. friday.
