Smith, Departed this life January 5, 2008. Mrs. Marie J. Smith formerly of Powhatan Street. She is survived by one niece Lettie Johnson, one nephew Richard Jones and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor). Rev. Connie Jones Jr. off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Saturday.
