Turner, Departed this life January 12, 2008. James Turner of Glen Allen. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Leslie Turner; one daughter, Maxine Crawford; three grandchildren, Devita & India Coleman and James Crawford; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Gertrude Johnson of Newport News and Lillian Jacobs of Portsmouth, Virginia; one aunt, Lillian Gaffney of Philadelphia; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother- in -law Irene Leslie; two brothers -in -law, Clyde Jacobs and Mack Leslie III(Bernice) and other relatives and friends among them his god son, Robert Brown and his dog Sweetie. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held 11:30AM on Saturday. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
