Smith, Departed this life January 13, 2008. Mrs Bernice White Smith of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Jerome Smith; one daughter, Terry Battle; two sons, Darick D. White and Jermaine L. Smith; one step daughter Crystal Smith; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Dorothy Powell and Barbara Watson; two brothers Thomas White Jr. and Sherman White Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son- in -law, Mario Battle; three sisters -in- law; three brothers in law and other relatives and friends among them Patricia Jackson and Lakeisha Camp. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1P.M. at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Kevin McGill(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Friday.
