Alfred Louis Pleasants Jr.

Pleasants, Departed this life January 16, 2008. Alfred Louis(Sonny) Pleasants Jr. of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Marie Pleasants and two sons Sylvester and Ricardo Pleasants. He is survived by three sons Alfred III, Tyrone and James Pleasants; one daughter, Cheryl Johnson; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters- in-law, Jackie and Elaine Pleasants; one son-in-law, Frank Johnson; two sisters-in- law, Alease and Gertie Pleasants; one brother-in-law, Andrew Richardson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at Progressive Holiness Church, 1518 Texas Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Bishop L. A. Campbell(pastor) off. Internment Riverview Cemetey. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Saturday.
