Departed this life December 3, 2012. Raymond Jackson Sr. of Midlothian. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Jackson; two daughters, Debra Jackson and Brenda Newsome; two sons, Raymond Jr. and Glen F. Jackson; 19 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Althea Bell; a host of nieces and nephews; one cousin, Mary Freeman; one daughter-in-law ,Arnetta Jackson; six sisters in law; three brothers-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Star Fellowship Baptist Church, 105-107 E. Pilkington Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Wade Richmond(interim pastor). Rev. Larry Barham Sr. off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
