Sarah H Conway

Departed this life December 17, 2012. Mrs. Sarah Ella Hamilton Conway of Chesterfield. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Conway Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Deitra(Dee Dee) Mitchell and Freida Meade; two sons, Edward Gordon Conway III and Cordell Hamilton Conway; twelve grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a devoted sister, Lois Charity; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Deborah B. Conway and Dr. Denise Mills; two sons-in-law, Lawrence Mitchell and McKinley Meade Jr.; one sister-in-law, Vivian Mason; one brother-in-law, Reginald Conway and other relatives and friends. The family offers a special thank you to the staff of Lucy Corr Village and especially Shelby Ray. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown(pastor). Dr. Terry O. Johnson off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
