Yvonne Butler Marshall

Marshall, Mrs. Yvonne Butler(Vonzie) Marshall went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 31, 2008. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, JeAnne Robinson, Juna Lightfoot and Marguerita Smyre; two sons, Alan and Stefan Marshall; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; three sisters, Bobbi Butler, Carol Whitaker(both of Troy, North Carolina) and Sheila Hamilton; one brother, George Butler of Troy; an adopted daughter, Ethel M. Fortune; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Linda and Yvonne(Connie) Marshall; three sons-in-law, William Robinson, Leon Lightfoot and William Smyre; one brother- in- law. Herbert Butler and other relatives and friends. including her extended families. the Fortunes, Banks and Carrolls and a lifetime friend, Irvin Johnson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11A.M. at Shalom Baptist Fellowship Church, 1708 Harwood Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Valerie Carter(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45A.M. Tuesday.
