Mary Cole

Departed this life life December 25, 2012. Mrs. Mary Shipman Cole of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W Cole, one daughter, Gladys Herbert and one grandson, Victor Cole. She is survived by two granddaughters, Lavar Scott and Lora Ann Herbert; six great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Clinton and Lillian McMillan; four brothers; James E., Jerry, Joseph C. and J.D. Shipman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law; Betty & Fannie Mae Shipmanand Lorine McLeod; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael Moore(interim pastor). Rev. Ernestine Smoot off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
