Avernelle Saunders Stevens

Departed this life December 27, 2012. Mrs. Avernelle Stevens of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Stevens. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them Gloria Evans(Louis), Charles Marks(Marsha) and Raymond Marks; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Brenda Henry, Maggie Brown and a god daughter, Roxanne May. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11AM at Fourth Baptist Church, 2800 P Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Emory Berry Jr.(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
