Laura Catherine Saunders

Departed this life December 28, 2012. Mrs. Laura Saunders of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one son, Thomas Washington. She is survived by one daughter, Synita Tyler; three sons; Robert Saunders, Torrance Washington and James Gregory III; eight grandchildren; three sisters; Lauralee Coley, Florence Bailey and Erma Horne; one brother, John Saunders; five aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Anita Saunders, one son-in-law, Eugene Tyler; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Saunders; two brothers-in-law, William Bailey and Demus Horne and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael Moore(interim pastor). Interment Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Aylett, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Thursday.
