Departed this life January 14, 2013. Mrs. Berthel Barnes of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Barnes. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Davis; four grandchildren; Scott, Philip, Stacy and Kelly Davis; three step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four sisters; Lucille Roane, Inez Clegg, Eunice Harden and Hannah Jiggetts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Dolphus Davis; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Harden and Shirley Barnes and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held 1PM, Friday. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the chapel 12:45PM Friday.
