Bates Jr.; maternal grandmother, Sharon Ruffin; paternal grandmother, Irene E. J. Bates; four brothers; Alvin A. Hanks, Akeem J. Bates, Marcus Ruffin(Sharonda) and Tyrone Luck(Amy); ten aunts, three uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Rev. Barbara Ingram off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
