Inez Braxton Alfred

Inez Braxton (age 76) of Richmond, VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Alfred, III. She is survived by her daughter, Deloris Yvonne Bailey; sister, Ida L. Chapple; brothers, Willie F. Braxton (Jerri), Samuel T. Braxton (Grace), Charles E. Braxton (Portia); brothers-in-law, Johnny Alfred, Jr. (Glenda Fay), Ronald Alfred (Glenda Kay); sisters-in-law, JoAnn A. Knox, Gloria A. Alfred, and Mary L. Cary; godson, Charles E. Braxton II; goddaughter Jazmine Jones, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Inez was a public school teacher for 30 years, teaching in New Kent County, VA for 22 years. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave where the family will receive friends from 3:30 to 5:30 Friday and where funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM. Rev. Dr. Terry O. Johnson officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
