Departed this life March 11, 2013. Mrs. Josephine Senora Bennett of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, James Russell Bennett III; two daughters, Kia Bennett and Latice Bennett Mitchell; one son, James Russell Bennett IV; seven grandchildren; one great grand daughter; her father, Reginald A. Beverly; two sisters, Claudia Beverly Rollins and Katrina Beverly Gill; one aunt, Ruth Beverly; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Sakina Bennett; one son-in-law, Louis Joseph Mitchell III; mother-in-law, Marie Bennett; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Williams and Kim Bennett; three brothers-in-law, Jerome Rollins, Edward Gill and Anthony Bennett and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 7:45PM at Second Baptist Church, 1400 Idlewood Avenue where there will also be an Omega Omega Service. Funeral services will also be held at Second Baptist Church, Friday at 12 noon where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris(pastor) off. Interment Oxford Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruther Glen, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at the Second Baptist Church 11:45AM Friday.
