Departed this life March 12, 2013. Dorsey(Bigbabe) Freeman Jr. of Richmond. He was a member of Ed Jones Lodge #324(Prince Hall Affiliated). He was also a Past Potentate of Mocha Temple #7(Prince Hall Affiliated). He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Freeman; one daughter, Kimberly Freeman Hardy; two sons, Dorsey Freeman III and Randy Freeman; two grandchildren, DaShawna Freeman and Miah Hardy; one sister, Doris Marshall; one brother, Lafayette Freeman; two aunts, Bettie Hamlett and Nannie Carter; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Linwood Hardy; two sisters-in- law, Ellen Ammons and Nannie Freeman; two brothers-in-law, Reginald Ammons and William Marshall and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 South Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment New Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Nathalie, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at Sixth Baptist Church 12:45PM Monday.
