Marion Elizabeth Bates

Departed this life March 16, 2013. Mrs. Marion Bates, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Bates and one daughter, Carol Pinkney. She is survived by one daughter, Adrienne Bruin; two grandchildren, Darlene Brown and Dr. Roland Pinkney; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three sisters; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 1701 Turner Road. Interment in South Boston, Virginia. Family and friends assemble at New Deliverance 10:45AM Saturday.
