Cora Lee Alston

Alston, Departed this life March 11, 2008. Mrs. Cora L. Alston of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Howard R. Alston Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn L. Alston and Beulah Adell Lewis; one son, Lt. Colonel Howard R. Alston Jr.(ret); six grandchildren,, Herbert III and Michelle Lewis, Howard III and Jeanell Alston, Tonjia Williams and Malakia Irby; four great grandchildren; Quran Lewis, Tiara Harding, and Cameron & Christian Williams; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter- in-law, Loraine Alston; one son- in-law, Herbert C. Lewis Jr.; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1P.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. ________________________________ off. Interment Riverview Cemetery.
