Departed this life March 23, 2013. George Edward Watkins Jr. of Ruther Glen. He was an educator in Prince Georges County, Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl G. Watkins; two daughters, Lauren Ashley Watkins and Courtney Alayna Watkins; one sister, Margaret W. Pollard; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother and father-in-law, MaeFrances Graham and Thomas W. Bradford; six sisters-in-law; Kertrina, Mary, Deborah, & Yvette Graham and Tamala and Kimberly Bradford; eight brothers-in-law; Willis Pollard III and Alonzo, Leonard, Anthony, Barry, & Rufus Graham and Thomas & Tyrone Bradford; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10AM at Wright Chapel United Methodist Church, 8063 Ladysmith Road in Ruther Glen, Virginia. Rev. Charles Tillapaugh(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 9:45AM Thursday.
