Departed this April 8, 2013. Leon Starke, age 66, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Starke; two sons, Shawn and Antonio Starke; a host of grandchildren among them Jasmine and Tevin Smith; two sisters, Paulette Simpson and Jennifer Snead; one brother, Walter Starke; one aunt, Vernell Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Jolanda Starke; three sisters-in-law, Emma Gardner, Dorothy Goode and Dorothy Starke; four brothers-in-law, Lawrence & Tony Taylor, Lacey Simpson and Wesley Snead; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where memorial services will be held Monday at 1PM. Rev. Darrell Taylor off. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
