Barnes, Departed this life March 20, 2008. Mrs. Lora Barnes of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Daeshar Taylor-Shabazz; four grandchildren, Cory Bynum, Shadeja & ShaNajeeb Shabazz, and Shareef Mosby; mother, Nina Spain Wallace and husband, Oliver Jr; father, Albert Taylor Sr. and wife, Gladys; five sisters, Joyce Thierry, Gloria Taylor Edwards, Angela Taylor-Muwakil, Barbara Gaines and Christie Hamlin; two brothers, Albert Jr. and Bryan Taylor; nine aunts, one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one so- in-law, Shareef Shabazz; three brothers-in-law, Larry Edwards, Linwood Gaines and Joseph Hamlin; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted, Lisa Carter. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30P.M. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11A.M. at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown and Dr. Ricardo Brown(pastors) Bishop E. W. Woodburry Sr. off Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45A.M.
