Departed this life May 5, 2013. Vanish Boyd, age 68, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Boyd; one daughter, Nakia; four sons; Michael, Derrick, Vanish and Christopher; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Ernestine Reed; one brother, Frank Boyd Jr.; one aunt, Mary Eliza Harris; one uncle, Moon Boyd; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four daughters -in-law; mother-in-law, Sarah Elizabeth Sanders; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 1pm at the Abundant Life Church of Christ, 3300 Neale Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Steve Foreman(pastor) off.
