Carter, Departed this life March 29, 2008. Frederick Keith Carter of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Chakeshia Carter and his father, Benjamin B .Carter. He is survived by his wife, Jamita W. Carter; one daughter, Starletta Carter; one son, Frederick Keith Carter Jr.; one step daughter Sterlica Riley; one step son, Keith Edward Winston; three grandchildren, Shakenja Carter, Sade and Jordan Winston; his mother, Marie Carter; three brothers, Bernard & Gregory Carter and Ronald Gabbin; one uncle; a host of nieces, among them a devoted Diachelle Carter; nephews ,among them a devoted, Bernard Carter Jr. and cousins, among them Peggy Lee; one daughter-in-law, Santrice Winston; a mother-in-law, Mary Bowman; seven sisters-in -law; six brother-in-law and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted god mother, Shirley Williams. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon at First Union Baptist Church, 6231 Pole Green Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Dexter Canon(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Wednesday.
