Departed this life June 7, 2013. Willie Lee Bannister Jr. of Richmond. He is survived by one son, Brandon Seldon; his father and mother, Willie L. and Annie Bannister Sr.; one sister, Dr. Clara Monica Bannister, PhD; one brother, Carl Lee Bannister; four aunts; four uncles; three nieces; a host of cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at the Church of God in Richmond(formerly known as Grace Institutional Baptist Church) located at 300 W. Roanoke Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Apostle Michael Bennett(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Thursday.
