Susan Archer Hughes

Departed this life June 27, 2013. Mrs. Susan A. Hughes of Richmond. She is preceded in death by husband, Leonard N. Hughes Sr. and son, Leonard N. Hughes Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Karen A. Butler; two sons, Earl A. Hughes and Anthony E. Hughes; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews among them devoted Samuel F. Archer Jr.; son-in-law, Gregory D. Butler; sister-in-law, Muriel H. Burrell; one brother-in-law, Fred L. Hughes(Roberta S.) and other relatives and friends. Funeral will be held Tuesday 11AM at Second Baptist Church 1400 Idlewood Ave. where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior to funeral time. Dr. James Harris (pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
