Gholson, Departed this life April 10, 2008. Garfield Gholson of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Rev. Sarah Gholson; one son, Curtis Ruffin; one grand daughter, _________________; one brother, Harold Gholson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, _________________; one sister-in-law, Rev. Cora H. Hines; three brothers-in-law, Samuel Hatch(Mary), Rev. William Hatch(Ella), and Louis Hatch(Ruth) and other relatives and friends, among them three god daughters, ____________________________. He was a member of Jonathan Lodge #112(Prince Hall Affiliated) and also a member of the Old Timers Social Club, Inc. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Kevin W. McGill Sr.(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. Tuesday.
