Departed this life July 6, 2013. Michael Kennedy, age 61, of Richmond. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Roslyn Kennedy; two daughters, Athaba Thomas and Lindsay Kennedy; one son, Christopher Kennedy; seven grandchildren; his mother, Avis Kennedy; two brothers, Warren and Edward Kennedy; two aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a daughter- in-law, Mariya Kennedy; one son-in-law, Christopher Thomas; mother-in-law, Flossie Blair; four sisters-in-law; Pearl Kennedy, Brenda Sayles, Alison Baugh, and Aunetta Gardner; two brothers-in-law, Carl Baugh and Daryl Blair; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 11am Friday until hour of funeral. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon. Pastor Gary Garner off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
