Departed this life September 16, 2013. James Edward Gilmore of Richmond. He is survived by one daughter, Javona Scott; two sons, Kevin Washington and Detwan Scott; five grandchildren; father and mother, Carl and Carolyn Gilmore; paternal grandmother, Hilda Dixon; one brother, Tony Gilmore; three aunts; seven uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Quita Phillips. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Rev. Paul Chipman off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
