Burnett H. Montague

Departed this life September 18, 2013. Mrs. Burnett H. Montague, age 77, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Linwood G. Montague. She is survived by four daughters; Linda M. Harris, Betty M. Hampton, Angela Brown, and Shuron M. Booker; eleven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dezell Mallary and Hazel Reid; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four sons-in-law, Walter Harris, Herman Hampton, William Brown and John Mitchell; three sisters-in-law, Florene Scott, Maria Flowers and Malinda Holmes; two brothers-in- law, Jessie Montague and Leroy Reid and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday 12 noon at Cedar Street Baptist Church, 2301 Cedar Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Anthony Michael Chandler Sr.(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Monday.
