Entered eternal rest on Friday, September 20, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Charles Tyler, age 81, of Richmond. He is survived by his devoted wife, Gladys Tyler; three daughters; Diane Johnson, Linda Allen and Annie Woodson; five grandchildren; Kadrienne & Ivana Johnson, Devron & Dorian Allen; and Derrick Bates; a host of nieces among them a loving Alma Jones, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, John Johnson and Rev. Gene Woodson; five sisters-in-law; one brother-in- law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Fauquier Baptist Church, 2455 Dogtown Road, Goochland, Va. where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Melvin Woodson(pastor) off. Interment church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
