Departed this life September 20, 2013. Jerome K. Johnson of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Johnson; two daughters, Luelanda Williams and Laketa Harris; one son, Jerome K. Gale Jr.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Egenia Woolridge and Debra Johnson; one brother, Norman Johnson Jr; two aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother-in-law, Louise Gale; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at First Baptist Church, 1501 Decatur Street where remains will lie in state on hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Dwight Jones(pastor). Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
