Departed this life September 24, 2013. Wilbert Russell Cox of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wyonne Cox; two daughters, Ruth Elizabeth Cox & Renata Elaine Ford and one son, Larry Cox. He is survived by one daughter, Carrie Cox; two sons, Wilbert Cox Jr. and Wayne Alexander Cox; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren among them two devoted, Laqwesha and Wayne Cox; two great great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Cox; one aunt, Jannie Hopkins; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Maxine Cox and Leslie Dixon; one brother-in-law, Frank Threatts; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:PM Monday. Graveside services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the cemetery 12:45PM Tuesday.
