Carleeser Ellis Allen

Allen, Carleeser Ellis Allen, 89, of Glen Allen went to be with the Lord on May 15th, 2008. She was preceded in death by her late husband Robert L. Allen Sr. and Joan Y. and Mable L. Allen. She is survived by her children Robert L. Allen Jr(Mary), Virginia Daniels(Major), Carrie Hopkins, Charles Allen, Richard Allen, Debbie Reaves(Spencer), Cindy Allen(Larry) and Sheila Allen; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two sisters Gertrude James and Berta Taylor; one brother Charles Ellis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister in law; one brother in law and other relatives and friends. Our mom loved life. Her ability to give unconditional love, understanding, comfort and acceptance while expecting nothing in return was unmatched, immeasurable and irreplaceable. She will be greatly missed by all. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30P.M. Friday and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11A.M. Rev. Leonard Davis off. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at funeral home 10:45A.M. Saturday.
