Lee, departed this life October 1, 2013. He is survived by one daughter, Jewel Lee Gaines; two sons, Edward Lee, Jr. and Brian Lee; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Meekins and Gladys Meekins; two brothers, Alfred Lee and Beverly Lee, Jr; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Carlene Lee; one son-in-law, Oliver Gaines, Jr., two sisters-in-law, Edna and Edwina(Dolly) Lee; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11;30 a.m. at Sharon Baptist Church, 22 E. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Paul Coles(pastor) OFF. Interment Maury cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:15am Wednesday.
