Turner, departed this life October 2, 2013, Jerry Turner of Richmond.He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carrie Turner and brother, Thomas,Jr. He is survived by his wife, Angela Turner; one daughter, Ashley Turner; one son, Jerry Turner Jr.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Banks and Patricia Wilkins; one brother, Harry Turner; one uncle, Walter Turner; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Myrtle Howie; father-in-law, James Howie, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Ivory Howie; five brothers-in-law, Sylvester Banks, Michael Wilkins and James, Bernard and Leroy Howie and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr.Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1920 Fairmount Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Victor Davis(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45 pm Thursday.
