Departed this life October 26, 2013. Bernard Alston Sr., age 45, of Richmond, formerly of Henderson, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Nicole Alston; two sons, Bernard Jr. and Marquis Alston; his mother, Mary Alston; three sisters; Bernita & Nikki Alston and Shawn Alston Green; two brothers, Billie III and Charlie Alston; one aunt, Cassie Lester; six uncles; Godfrey Lee, Horace Lee, Judge Haywood, Israel, Charlie and Johnnie Alston; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother-in-law, Cleo Carver(Ronald Sr.); one sister-in-law, Dallita Green(Tyrone); two brothers-in-law, Robert Green and Dallas Johnson Jr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon. Mr. Larry Wilkins off. Interment in Henderson, North Carolina. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Wednesday.
