Departed this life November 27, 2013. Deacon Marvin Bibbs, age 70, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Mary Bibbs; one daughter, Marilyn Bibbs Freeman; one son, Marvin D. Bibbs; two grandchildren, Paige and Malcolm Freeman; three brothers; Lawrence E. Bibbs Jr.(Natividad), James L. Bibbs Sr. and Henry Clay Bibbs II(Yvonne); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Tarik Freeman; ten sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 S. Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday.
