Departed this life December 10, 2013. Mrs. Jessie Lee, age 77, of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Jewel Lee Gaines, two sons, Edward Lee Jr. and Brian Lee; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Richardson and Juliet Owens; one brother, Donald Grant; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Carlene Lee; one son-in-law, Oliver Gaines Jr.; one sister-in-law, Sandra Grant; one brother-in-law, Clifton Owens and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 11:30am at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael Moore(pastor) off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:15am Monday.
