Geraldine Thomas Briggs

Briggs, Departed this life June 12, 2008. Mrs. Geraldine W. Briggs of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Cephas” Briggs and her son, Winfree C. Briggs. She is survived by five daughters, Barbara A. Smith, Valerie E. Briggs, Margaret P. Richardson, Odessia B. Braxton and Priscilla D. Briggs; one son, Larry R. Briggs; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grand children; one great great grandchild; one sister, Celestine E. Lee; one brother, McCoy A. Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sons-in-law, Wyman D. Smith, Michael J. Richardson and Warren E. Braxton; one sister-in-law, Queen E. Thomas and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Monday from 6:30 to 7:30P.M. and where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1P.M. _________________ __________________ off. Interment Roselawn Memory Garden. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45P.M. Tuesday.
