Jackson, Departed this life June 15, 2008. Deaconess Elnora M. Jackson of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norbert I. Jackson Sr. She is survived by three daughters, Frances Simms, Sylvia Kenney and Mildred Shannon; two sons, Norbert Jackson Jr. and Christopher Jackson; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; two step grandchildren; three sisters, Doris Jackson, Norma Terry and Katrina Hicks; three brothers, Wilmer, William and Norman Jackson; one aunt, Mamie Coles Clarke; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in--law _________; two sons-in-law, John Simms and Melvin Kenney; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in- law; and other relatives and friends, among them Lawrence Pleasants, Henry Hughes and Eunice Henderson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30P.M. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1P.M. at 5th Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Thursday.
