Predzel Hawthorne

Departed this life December 30, 2013. Predzel Hawthorne Sr., age 84, of Richmond. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Thelma Jones Hawthorne; one daughter, Joyce Anne Clinton; one son, Predzel Hawthorne Jr.; two grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Hawthorne and Nathaniel Hawthorne; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three step daughters; Sandra Gray, Yvonne Jones Bibbs(Clay) and Sheila Ashby; two step sons, Ronald Jones and Lawrence Jones(Karen); one daughter-in-law, Bettie Hawthorne; one sister -in-law, Juanita Scott; and other relatives and friends. He loved the outdoors and riding his bicycle. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where memorial services will be held Monday at 11AM. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs, pastor of Sixth Baptist Church, off. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
