Maurice Eberhardt Sr.

On January 3, 2014, Deacon Maurice “Hart” Eberhardt Sr., age 61, of Richmond, peacefully slipped into the precious arms of our Lord and Savior. He is reunited in Heaven with his son, Maurice Eberhardt Jr. He leaves a great legacy with his very loving and devoted family: his wife, Patricia Anderson Eberhardt, who was the center of his heart; daughters; Felicia Eberhardt, Crystal Braxton and Necole Anderson; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings; Jerry Eberhardt Sr., Cheryl Scott(Larry) and Ernest Eberhardt; aunt, Mary Alice Harrison; uncles, Clifford Eberhardt and Julius Hill; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Cynthia(Melvin) Scipio; two brothers-in-law, Russell(Delphine) Anderson and Kirk Anderson and other relatives, co-workers and friends. He retired from the Department of Public Works(City of Richmond) and Richmond Public Schools. Professional services entrusted to Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon. Dr. Arlene Simmons, eulogist. Dr. Otis E. Mallory Sr. off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Saturday.
