Departed this life January 19, 2014. Mrs. Rebecca Whittingham, age 75, of Richmond, formerly of South Hill. She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Whittingham; one son, Tony Whittingham Jr.; Edwin “Tony” Calnick Whittingham, father of her children; three grandchildren; Tony Whittingham III, Brianna Robinson and Camrine Whittingham; five sisters; Marie Spears, Ethel Robinson, Ada Tisdale, Clara Irene Coleman Davis and Vivian Wegman; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Whittingham; three brothers-in-law; Harry Robinson, Robert Tisdale and Richard Wegman; and other relatives and friends. She was the retired owner of Tailor Towne Ltd in South Hill, Virginia. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Mt. Gilead Full Gospel Ministries, 2501 Mt. Gilead Blvd where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Daniel Robertson Jr.(pastor). Elder Tony Whittingham Jr. off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
