Cora G. Jones

Departed this life February 9, 2014. Mrs. Cora G. Jones, age 76, of Richmond. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 39 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Calvin Jones Sr.; one daughter, Caprice Hairston(Darrell) and one son, Calvin Jones Jr.(Pamela); two granddaughters, Destiny Hairston and Kiara Jones; one sister, Daisy Williams; one brother, Henderson D. Hicks Jr.; three aunts; Ida T. Martin, Florence Irene T. Ridley and Helen T. Darrell; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM. Rev. Tony D. Henderson off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45PM Saturday.
